2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Finally Unveiled in NYC

The weeks—no, months—of teasers have created one of the most memorable hype trains in our memory, and now, we’re getting the facts. At the New York Auto Show, Dodge finally unleashed the 2017 Challenger SRT Demon. With 840 horsepower, 770 lb-ft of torque, a 2.3 second sprint to 60, and numerous tech and powertrain upgrades on display, it’s the most potent production muscle car yet.

But as things go, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Dodge has incorporated a laundry list of changes to help the car lose weight, and make sure it can deliver on its promises as the brand’s niche, quarter-mile killer. All told, it’ll be quite impressive—and one of the only production muscle cars to pull 1.8 Gs on acceleration (yes, you might actually do a street-legal wheelie or two). But with so many changes, we’ll leave it to TFLC’s clip above to fill in the blanks.

Want to learn more about how you can drive, or even order, the new SRT Demon? We’d be happy to explore that with you at our Dodge dealership in Sauke Centre, MN. Contact us by phone or email to schedule an appointment, or to ask any questions that you may have.
